Pastor David Gomez is the current Founder and President of Living Word Christian Center; he along with his wife Maria Cristina de Gomez, raised a powerful ministry in Colombia and the world through the last years.

Pastor David began his formation in the United States, obtaining degrees as a Theologian with emphasis in Pastoral Education, an Ecclesiastical Degree in Theology, received a Doctorate in Eschatology and Biblical Doctrines and recently received a Doctorate in Theological and Ministerial Studies. While living in the United States, he was a guest pastor in different churches, but his passion for youth work, led him to return to his country Colombia to work with youth.

In 2005 he moved to the city of Cali (Colombia), where he married Pastor Maria Cristina and began his first ministerial challenge. In this city he managed to build a church of more than 7,000 people, acquired two Christian radio stations that had great coverage in the department of Valle del Cauca. 

After overcoming great challenges, the Lord revealed to him the need to hold a multitudinous event on an annual basis in order to pray for his city; it is at this moment where "Clamor Cali" was born. The first clamor was held in 2010 in the Parque de las Banderas of that city, and so, year after year, the people of Cali began to attend this great event reaching the point of considering necessary a larger place to hold it, and it was in 2015 in the Pascual Guerrero Soccer Stadium with a capacity of 46. 000 people where after ten years of service in Cali, Pastor David and Pastor Maria Cristina deliver their consolidated ministry in the hands of their successors, the reason: their transfer as Pastors to the Church of the Million Souls in the capital of the country, Bogota.

When they arrive to the city of Bogota, the Pastor receives not only the legacy of his parents Enrique and Mélida de Gómez, but also a great ministry along with a church of 1,600 people. Here he also faced great challenges and changes, but his love for teaching the church the Word of God, along with the constant support of his wife and children managed to foster and form an integral team that allowed him to fully meet the goals and objectives proposed for the church.

Pastor David began his formation in the United States, obtaining degrees as a Theologian with emphasis in Pastoral Education, an Ecclesiastical Degree in Theology. In Bogotá he continued the event "Clamor por Colombia" which was held in the main square of events in the Colombian capital, La Plaza de Bolivar, gathering more than 30,000 people. During the last three years, all the CMB Mission headquarters have been summoned, filling the place, crying out for the country and declaring the Word about it. 

Another great impact event happened in 2018 called "Evangelizing Colombia", an event where 3,000 people were trained to share the Word of God in public places in the city in order to reach more and more people for Christ. This event has been invaluable to the Work through prayer for others, service to the community and sowing in the expansion of the Gospel of Christ.

On July 20, 2019, a commemorative day for Colombia for its independence, the evangelistic campaign led by Pastors David and Maria Cristina reached the capital of Colombia and its surroundings.

Finally, Pastors David and Maria Cristina pastored for five years the church of the Million Souls, building a solid ministry and delivering into the hands of Apostles Enrique and Mélida de Gómez, a church with a membership of 7. They moved to the United States obeying the direction given by the Lord, building a new path, opening a gap and building a new headquarters: Living Word Christian Center in California, where currently the Pastors are not only teaching the Word of God but preparing the rapture generation that makes 'HEAVEN BE THEIR DESTINATION'.
