Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is for {their} salvation. For I testify on their behalf that they have a zeal for God, but not according to a full knowledge. For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and {is able} to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
